    australia got the gsr lancer 4g93T powered, which lots of people put th evo 3 kit on or do the 63T conversion or private import evos. us kiwis got all the evos

    what need replacing in it? the diaphram in my old one tore so i replaced it with a greddy one
  17. flywheel removal when engine is out of car

    we just used the method i always use and used a alen key through one of the bell housing holes and wedged against a tooth. same principle as using a bent bolt. a few seconds later the bolts were undone.

    i still run the 3.9 box in the gsr and ive run 134mph in 4th on the quarter mind you i was shifting at 9k

    ive run kelfords 280's for a few years in my engine (benefits of them being in the same city) they seem to do the job nicely, they also built my head.

    damn thats alot of power on the stock box, i would have thought 4th would have stripped by now but i guess not. least i know i can still run my stock box for a while longer in the lancer.

    eagles will withstand more than most people will push with them in most cases. i made just under 650whp on eagles.

    the 3.9 ratio is the factory ratio fo the e123 and vr4 e zero and maybe the facelift rs's. the car may well be running the 5 speed ppg gearset as the artical doesnt say if its a 4 or 5 speed. most people racing the early evos and vr4s here change to the 3.5 diff ratio too avoid changing to 5th...

  25. gearbox damage/28 psi,sticky tyres and left foot braking

    im interested to know whats left of my 4th gear in the drag car, there were lots of bits in the end of the case when i took it off, but i couldnt be bothered taking it down further to look.
  26. So my vr4 will be sitting for 6months

    my gsr sat for about 8 months without being touched. charged the battery and it fired straight away. only problem i had was my pwr steering pump died along the way of the sitting period
