  2. Caster adjustments

I use DSM camber plates for caster adjustment. I was able to get 4.2 deg of caster using them. I have a cambered upper bolt for the lower strut mounting to get my -2.5 deg of static camber. handles real nice.
  3. JReece3556 Build

It’s your car so do what you want. But you will not find many like minded people here since most do not own Honda’s and such do not mod their cars like the local Honda fanboi. If you are happy with it then go for it. But don’t expect lolypops and butterflies.
  4. FS: Evo rear lsd stub axles

Interested if you still have them. I’m in the portland area.
  5. Caliper Brake Line Inlet Stripped

That’s a much better idea. Brakes are the most important component in your car. Don’t cheap out on them.
  6. Caliper Brake Line Inlet Stripped

You would be better off using a threadsert. Not cheap but worth the cost.

Quoting ApexHunter: The way the fitting on the valve cover for the vent was grafted on there looks real nice. I was wondering how this car was doing. Thanks guys! If I had to do it all over again I might change things slightly. But I am happy with how it is for now:) the build never ends haha.
  10. 1865 track day and DD

Quoting GSTwithPSI: Looks great, Evan. That catch can is legit.Which size BEP housing are you running? It's just the basic housing for the HX35. Nothing special but in the long run I will ether upgrade the turbo to something a lot nicer or I will use the 12cm twin scroll housing and...
  11. 1865 track day and DD

It's been a while since I have updated this build. HX35 is installed and i just finished making the catch can. Wiring and a proper air box will be the next goal.

  21. Smoke suddenly pouring out of exhaust & catch can breather - 1990 VR4

I would recommend doing a compression and leakdown test first. Also check to see if oil is in coolant. That will at least tell you if you have a blown head gasket.
  22. BoV suggestions (flutter dump w/ stock BOV) - Resolved w/ Dodge Mod

His BOV is plumed to the port behind the throttle plate. The tapped nipple is vented to atmosphere. If it is not that way any longer I will be having some questions for him tomorrow when I see the car.

I get what you are saying. but if regulations required people to be a Licenced mechanic I would think the opinion would change. each state is different but in Oregon you have to be a licenced contractor to do your own work. anything under 1000 is ok as it usually doesn't consist of messing with...

Quoting GSX_TC: Started off as like Positive 1.4 pretty off, then we set it to negative 2.5 and it seemed to match the front but after driving it looks further in compared to the front. So I might have him set it to like 2.0 or 1.8 negative.nice. If you ever want to do a track day around a...

  45. FS: Evo seat rail adaptors for gvr4 making a run of them.

also if you wanted the back shimmed up I can make a solid aluminum spacer and longer bolt to bring the back up a bit. it would just fit under each rear mounting to the body.
