    Good point. I never thought of that option. I had to replace my output shaft seal (requires output shaft removal). It wasn't that bad at all. Did it at home in my garage with simple hand tools.

    I had the same problem. I just pulled one from a car in the junk yard. Its pretty simple to r&r. Aside from pulling yours and trying to re-glue it that's about your only option.

    The evo is a tricky one as well. Its a pull style with a wave ring you have to unlock through the inspection cover. Most dsm trannys I've delt with are usually pretty good. Some just require a little coaxing. Glad to head all went well.

    All turbo 2g's will have them because the turbo feeds from the ofh. They are also in all non turbo 1g's with a 4g63. I found a '94 galant that had a 2.4l dohc and looked to have a 2g head?? That had the plug as well.
