engine/car takes forever to heat up

hey, i have a 92 mitsubishi galant, fwd, with a dohc engine. i am having trouble with the car not heating up very quickly at all. i have many theories as to what the problem might be, but i have no idea it im getting anywhere close with any of them. i have an aluminum rad, and the engine is...FS: 1989 GS part out!!!

breaks not working.... probably something dumb that i missed.
lol, its alright. my gf corrects me on my english all the time. shes an english major. consider also it was kinda late at night, so certain things just dont click when your brain wants to shut down.then again, you guys write color instead of colour. lol, ah the differences of the us and...breaks not working.... probably something dumb that i missed.
