    Mine wore out in that same spot. Can't really complain, seeing as how these cars are 23 years old. Went to the dealer, ordered it and the next day picked it up. I didn't think anything of it at the time.

    Before I go off and get myself into trouble, I wanted to ask you fine folks here a question. If I was to bump up the compression to 8:5 to 1 from the original 7:8, and kept everything else stock (turbo, cams, etc), what supporting mods would I need to make this work?     Besides, the OEM stuff is pretty good quality. It lasted 20 years, so replace it with another and don't worry.
