  1. Suspension upgrades by cost

Whats the ride and ride height like with these? I am not looking to build a race car, and in my limited experience "race" coilovers are not the ride I'm looking for. Think Aston Martin DB7. Fast, sure. But I want to give up 0.1's for comfort.
  2. Suspension upgrades by cost

I'm looking at options to upgrade the suspension on my street boxcar. It will likely not see the track, and if it does it's just for sheets and giggles. Options for the stock setup are thin with either KYB or KYB, cheap coilovers, or expensive coilovers.I've gone to the KYB route (AGX), and...
  3. 1991 Summit White Partout *UPDATED March 2023*

    That's what I feared. Thanks.
  4. 1991 Summit White Partout *UPDATED March 2023*

Any chance you have the plastic A pillar interior piece for the drivers side or the clear "VR-4" plastic piece just above the rear bumper on the right?TIA
  5. Mediocre s16g, so now what??

Thanks for the heads up. I have a Evo Maf, although using it gives me tons of false knock. Like 2% throttle, 1800rpm, no boost, what the h-.... I get phantom knock anyways, but with the 399 MAF I get more for some reason. 100 oct, still get counts. The 399 with an open air filter (ie not in...
  6. Mediocre s16g, so now what??

Finally made some progress. Flattened the flange of the BOV, so that seals. Completed the FMIC, and did the BLT good for 25#. Also redid the injector seals because those were leaking. I do have a little leak at the throttle body axle, which is frustrating because I did that not too many...
  7. Car won’t start. Need help!!

I don't think it's the problem, but both sides of that board seem a bit unclean. Maybe a paint brush; I don't know what if any chemicals to use?
  8. Car won’t start. Need help!!

    This might help? https://www.dsmtuners.com/threads/bad-isc-destroying-ecu.269343/
  9. Steering Rack. Knocking, rebuild?

On RockAuto I found Edelmann (?) seal kit EDELMANN 8658. Link is here...

    Keep us informed about progress.
  11. Car won’t start. Need help!!

That would be the safe thing to do. Personally, I think it's largely unnecessary, as I don't suspect the ECU. But I'm also wrong. A lot.If time was not a concern, sending it in would rule out the ECU. If time is a concern, I wouldn't hesitate to use the new cable and carry on.
  12. Check your shift linkage

And it's' relatively cheap and easy. It's hard to beat cheap, easy, and makes a noticeable improvement.
  13. Car won’t start. Need help!!

They did for me about 2 years ago. Same symptoms, green light would flash when connected, but nothing else. It seemed like there was an internal connection that was there technically, but any load with overwhelm the connection and it would short out.The popping sound makes it seem like...
