    Use a small pipe wrench if you have enough meat on the studs. Heat will help.

    Gonna need more then that to break 1000. I'd go with 10:1 CR personally. Carillo rods. And a super99 and you may get close to that. There's so many damn variables. Besides what are your goals? I hope you plan to build the drivetrain and dump a ton of money into regular maintance that should come...

    I know this may seem like a stretch but I have a friend with an RB25 swapped S14. he had a similar problem where the car would start fine cold abut after being ran for a little, died.Turned out to be his CAS. Do you have a spare or access to one maybe to swap and see if that helps.
