  5. #116/1000 Gets a New Tune

#116/1000 has gotten some much needed dyno time as well as some changes to the setup. Swapped out the old skool FP red for a new FP green with billet wheel, tore out the VPC and Super-AFC for ECMlink, installed a progressive methanol kit, and on the dyno it went!Really happy with the...
  6. Making a top mount intercooler and have a plumbing question.

If you don't want to cut into your bumper but still want performance you should look into a water to air IC.
  7. What kind of power should I expect?

Perhaps consider running methanol injection in tandem with pump gas. Lower charge temperatures and higher effective octane rating means you can safely push more boost/timing.

  10. fuel/turbo set up

While it is true you could get away with using the stock FPR, you will be continuously overrunning it at idle causing a permanent rich idle. I'd recommend sticking to your original plan of upgrading to an AFPR. Both aeromotive and fuel lab make excellent units. I've also heard that buschur...
  11. fuel/turbo set up

I'd recommend going with a larger fuel pump and larger injectors than that. Either a walbro 255 or supra tt pump, and at least 750cc injectors. There is nothing more annoying than being power limited only because you're running out of fuel and you definitely will run out of fuel especially if...
  12. Average Tank Fill? Weird Issue.....

Quoting Pot: I've had this issues on all three of my gvr4s. Like everyone, I consulted the owner's manual too. What has worked for me as of late is when the pump automatically shuts off, I go ahead and pump more fuel, let the pump shut off and continue this routine for three to four iterations...
  13. Best Rotors for Stock set up

I use stock replacement brembo blanks for my car. I have not been let down.
  14. What kind of oil are you running?

    Quoting turbowop: Mobil 1 15w50.
  15. What turbo do you run?

If I wanted to comfortably achieve 400+whp on a 2.3 liter stroker I'd probably pick up an FP green. They are tried and true hardy turbos, and it would hardly be breaking a sweat making 400whp on a 2.3.
