    Justin's #108/2000 Build Thread

After a long hiatus of working way too much, and a lot of other projects going on, I'm happy to say that the VR4 will get a little love and miles again this coming year. Have a Track Claw brake kit to install, some of the last of the EBC rear rotors/caliper rebuild, and a re-tune after the...

    Aftermarket fan won’t turn on

Before you get too far ahead of yourself, you might not have had it hot enough to need the fan. Just below halfway on the gauge is just under normal operating temp, and the thermostat was probably just opening. If you press the AC switch twice (IIRC once is Eco, second is Max) it should turn...

    2021 calendar

Maybe I'll actually get mine out and get a few pictures this year. I'd like to get back in the calendar. 👍

    What kind of Coilovers?

My FEAL coilovers feel great. I prefer them over the K-Sport and springs/shocks I used to have. As far as spacers, run as thin as you can, and get hub-centric if possible. JMFabrications still makes them in a few thicknesses.

    Brake Fitment help!

Baer Track claws use PBR calipers which are OEM minus the Baer logo for F-Body and Mustang in the mid-late 90's, early 2000's. The closest bolt on is probably the Gen1 CTS-V caliper, which doesn't need a bracket, just needs to shim the rotor out with a small spacer and a little grinding I think.

FS: JDM VR4 Evo Spec Front bumper

Posting this up for a local who isn't on here much. Located in Southeast PA.He imported it from Malaysia a few years ago and had it repainted Kensington Grey. The chrome strip is no longer there. Will include brackets to bolt on to US chassis.$1000 plus shipping/fees if needed.

    WTB: Steering wheel with adapter

I have the OEM and now a leather wrapped 1G wheel in #108. Looking to change up with something else. Something subtle and clean looking. No crazy colors/buttons/detaching hubs etc.

    Info for adjusting TPS ?

Between the signal out wire (should be Green/wht) and ground (Green/blk)

    Info for adjusting TPS ?

Should be 0.48-0.51V at idle. DSMLink wants to see closer to 0.63v (and that is where the 2G Idle switch is activated).

    G

Bought more interesting JDM stuff from G, this time a strut tower bar. Never an issue, and no hesitation buying from again.

    Inline pcv route

There's a little more info needed for something like that. Typically, there is no such thing as "too big". If you're stock boost with a stock ring gap engine, you could probably get by with 3/8"(#6) hoses. If you have a looser setup, I'd say 1/2(#8) minimum, preferably 5/8" (#10)
