  1. JDM ECU Swap 5810 to 5808

Swapped ABS pins, left fuel pump signal pin disconnected. Fired up ok, seems fine without it. Thanks for your help. I can run in my motor and clutch now.
  2. JDM ECU Swap 5810 to 5808

Thanks, after looking at that I gather I don't have to swap 6 & 14. Install 510cc injectors, swap ABS (11Aus to 13 J-Spec). Any idea what to do with fuel pump drive signal?
  3. JDM ECU Swap 5810 to 5808

I have an A-spec HH, 5810 ECU was faulty and wouldn't start car. I got my hands on a 5808 ECU. Has anyone swapped these before. I'm aware that it's a RS ECU and therefore requires 510cc injectors. I need info on wiring/pin changes. Do I need to swap 6 & 14? What about ABS & Fuel Pump signal...
  4. FS: Eprom ECU, fog lights, bumper lights

Just wondering if you still have the ECU, looking for one.
  5. Injectors not firing on BMW E30 4G63 swap, MPI related?

Are you sure it's related to fuel injectors? Have you checked coolant temperature sensor? Has the car been parked for a while? Bad fuel maybe? Loose ground cable somewhere?
  6. clutch engagement problems

Forgot to update this, added a spring washer and flat washer to pivot ball. Swapped out the clutch fork with a spare I had. The spare one had smaller holes for bearing retaining clip for some reason so I figured less play. Installed gearbox, clutch feels good, removed extended push rod. Fork now...
  7. Blowby issue, now pissing smoke from breather & exhaust

Quoting sixcentz: Hi I have a 1990 VR4 that's been blowing oil out of the dipstick though has now begun blowing constant white smoke out of the valve cover breather as soon as the engine is turned over, under acceleration there is huge clouds coming out of the exhaust (did look blue from what I...
  8. clutch engagement problems

Used them before and never had any problems. Usually use Exedy clutches tho, first time using xtreme clutch. Thought I'd try something different as my last Exedy had this ratly noise when off throttle, like an exhaust rattle. Unfortunately I haven't had time to work on the car yet, nothing to...
  9. clutch engagement problems

I'm at Shailer Park. Got it done at a shop in Herbert street, slacks creek. Slacks creek brake and clutch
  10. clutch engagement problems

Thanks for the feedback. I've tried most of your suggestions. I've already tried adjusting mc and clutch switch, mc at its longest point. Longer slave rod was never meant to be a permanent solution, as stated I needed to move the car and it definitely made a difference as I was able to get it in...
  11. clutch engagement problems

Also, when bleeding I hold pedal to floor, open and close bleed valve, pedal sticks to floor, I pull it up and repeat. Is this normal? Or should the pedal return on it's own? All air seems to be out of system tho.
  12. clutch engagement problems

Standard OEM flywheel machined. Not sure of step height. Took clutch & flywheel to shop when they machined it. I'll have to measure height when I remove box. Adjusted master cylinder rod out as far as I could, can still move slave. I have to push pedal very hard to the floor to get it in gear...
  13. clutch engagement problems

Should mention this is an Aus Spec vr4 HH. Xtreme clutch heavy duty ceramic, sprung.
  14. clutch engagement problems

Looking for some help with clutch engagement problems. After changing clutch I couldn't get into gear when engine is running. I've replaced clutch master cylinder and slave, bled etc. No luck. No clutch engagement at all. I replaced slave push rod with a longer one as a temp fix cause I needed...
  15. WTB: intercooler kit

My recent attempt, worked out well.
