So I pulled this off of my vr4 for some jic coilovers and wanted to know if these are worth anything or should I toss them? All I can gather on them is this...

Adjustable KYB front struts w/ Hyperco spring (MB672066 2C06 part # engraving)

Koni Yellow rear shocks (2G?) w/ Hyperco springs

Wonder if the KYB fronts are actually Koni inserts. Is there a bolt in the bottom of the shock body case that isn't painted or doesn't match the body case color? What does the adjuster look like on them?

I still say those fronts could be Koni inserts, seeing as the rears are Konis.

Hypercoil springs. Honestly...not a bad setup for $100+ shipping. The springs alone are worth it if they don't have a crazy rate.

I think you're correct. I did some searching and found someone on an mr2 forum running a similar setup that looks near identical. Thank you (y)

The only way to get Konis for the front on a 1g has been to buy the Koni insert. You would then take some old worn KYB front struts, cut open the shock case, remove the insert and replace it with the Koni insert. It would look like a KYB because of the outer case body, but internally, it would be a Koni. I had them on my 1g.

There are plenty of shops out there that will rebuild and revalve Konis. Now that you can't get the rears for the 1g, that's something to consider.
