Cheers, Ill give that a go at the weekend coming up.Remove your speedo cluster. There is a screw on the back that lines up with the 180kph marking on the front of the speedo. From memory the screw has a wire running off it. Remove the screw and no more speed limiter.
You need a HKS SLD (Speed Limit Defencer). I'll dig out the manual and see where it plugs in. There is a speed reed switch in the clocks that feeds into the ECU and the ABS i believe It's used to help compute load I believe. The JDM cars also have a second reed switch which pulses above 65 mph or some such and that drives the Initial D sounding chime in the dash under the climate control. That would be great if you could, I still haven't got around to opening the binnacle up.
