Does anyone make a "new" engine/wiring harness for the gvr4? After doing the engine and trans swap on 72/2000, i have come to realize that the P.O. hacked the life out of it. Im not the best when it comes to wiring or electronics for that matter, hence my asking for a new harness. Time really isn't an issue, as my gvr4 sits on stands. Input/ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I sincerely doubt anyone does, other than possibly a simplified harness intended for competition. There are also options like Painless, but truthfully, with a good diagram and connectors you will be better off fixing the existing one as it can be clearly understood where everything is intended to go.

Sheridan Engineering has connectors for sale. I also have random ones I have collected over the years if you need some things.

Well I'll be. Bit pricey, but nonetheless available.

i ordered an ohm racing 2g MAF adapter and was super impressed with quality. I can see why they ask as much as they do and im sure its worth every dollar.
Their customer service is a bit shaky though and some haven't had a great time with their quality on harnesses (plugs pinned incorrectly), but its still an option if you absolutely need one.

I am about to start on 666 when I get back to Texas and pull it out of storage. One of the first things after frame and body will be engine wire harness to Maxxecu connector. If you don't know about maxxecu you need to look at it if you are going through a full wire harness replacement.

Best of luck!
