I'm in the process of cleaning my carpet thoroughly, and pulled the permanent mat off the floor on the driver's side because it was all cracked up. Has anyone replaced this mat before or does anyone have an idea what I can use to replace it with?

I remember seeing something VERY similar at an auto carpet supply place. They used them to replace/cover the old one. I'll see if I can find a link.

I know there is a stainless steel option out there, can't remember where I saw it though. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif

That would be great, Aaron! Yeah, I know a lot of people that race have formed aluminum or stainless pans they use, since you obviously can't have a mat in there.

I'm sure there are more out there, just google 'Heel pads' and you're good to go.

The second link was the one I was originally referring to, good pricing /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like those come in the ideal size. I think it's impossible to get the glue up from the floor too.
