All 2.0 heads are the same between 1989 and june of 1992. After that they use smaller head bolts. After june 1994 they get smaller intake ports.

You can find a 4g67 head/1.8L Elantra (will have a 1.8l on the thermostat side of the head), and it will have a smaller CC combustion chamber, but has options for the larger diameter intake and exhaust ports; some had smaller intake ports like a 4g61t intake manifold. This would bump compression is you are looking to tweak things a little bit.

Otherwise as stated, you can use any non-turbo head with a 2.0l on the thermostat side of the head, assuming the correct era of casting.
