Found some old pics of a tank I restored. 2001'ish? 1st step was media blast, this step can be skipped now that I think about it. Dipping it will remove everything anyway. 2nd step repair bolts & weld up any holes etc.... 3rd step dip to remove all corrosion inside & out. If you don't remove all the corrosion on the inside it will always come back. The rust usually starts with the little spot welds. 4th step, have it tinned. Your tank will now outlive your vr4. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rofl.gif

















After being dipped for about 2 weeks. Clean as whistle.
