EPROM chips - who is able to program one for me?

Alright, I have decided which way to go with my 6G build - and most important, which hardware I am going to use.

I have a MD165808 ECU - which is currently at the electronics specialist to get caps replaced and a EPROM socket installed.

Along with this, I will use:
- Evo 8 injectors 560cc
- OE Evo III factory spec turbo (TD05H-16G) with 1.0bar wastegate actuator
- 8G Galant MAS "3G/type 482"

My problem now is, that I need somebody who can supply a specific EPROM chip for this setup. I have read a lot about the keydiver / DSMchips - but since he has closed down the business he cannot help anymore.

Who is able to help me out here? I'd like to have basically a chip which: compensates the injector size / corrects MAS values / 95 octane fuel maps / boost cut raised (basically only Stage3 options as per keydiver website).

Thanks for your help guys!
Stefan

Proved False - was thinking of the 501 maf my bad
3g maf is ok but you will be better off with a 399maf they look identical but have very different hardware inside.

Quote:
The -482 and -399 are so similar internally that the -399 looks to be a minor electronics design update. The -501 was drastically different. Between that and the air horn, I just wouldn't bother. Get the -482.

So....let's talk numbers. I've rounded up these numbers from a couple sources, most notable Jeff Oberholtzer. He apparently has original Mitsu data sheets for quite a few of these sensors, including the ones used in the 3000GT.

For starters, both the 3S MAF and the Evo MAF are rated by Mitsubishi to flow 240 liters/second of air. However, the Evo MAF does it with a .5 psi pressure drop. 3S/DSM MAFs are 1 psi. With the stock air horn in place, the -501 is only good for 210 l/sec. I'm not sure about the pressure drop on that one.

I believe this to be false. Where are the facts you are using? Iceman and keydiver seemed to say they were almost identical... That, and most out of the box tunes are based on the 3g maf, not the evo.

Your right I was thinking of the 501 Maf. Retract my first statement from the record.

Somewhere, I have photos of the ECUs with the lids off. I've probably still got that trashed 501 MAF on my shelf. I didn't run all of the individual circuit part numbers, but from what I did check, I can definitely say the 501 MAF is the cheap, cost cutting unit. The 482/399 have higher quality filtering circuits and are rated for a wider range of temperatures. I wouldn't go with anything less than a 482/399 on a modded turbo car.

Specs and performance on them were virtually the same. Don't have the info handy, and it is buried in one of the How To posts on here. We actually acquired the Mitsu test specs on them at the time.

Oh wow, did not expect so many possibilities. I am a noob with this, so rather need somebody to do that for me. I'll check options and get back to you guys.

Thanks for your support. Hope to start the build soon - nearly all parts are here now, so let the fun begin.
