I'm having a tough time deciding on shootout or motogp in Indianapolis next year. It could be the last time at Indy for a long time if not forever.

I'm already worried about my car not making it. Before next year 1501 will have a new engine, transmission, fuel and FMIC setup, new turbo, different struts and rear diff, new dash, and a brand new paint job. I will be basically be bringing a totally different VR4

Holy sh*t Craig that is nuts man, good luck with all of the rebuild stuff that you are going to be doing.

im not going to put my name down yet. cuz its like a 3 day drive for me now. if i can find a co-pilot, and if there are other people wanting to caravan over as a group i would be down to come out, i think my vr4 would be good to make the trip now. i know Jaxs was talking aboot trailering her car, and i think transparentdsm was talking aboot driving over as well. so i might make it out for this. we shall see.

I will provide a great camping spot, cheap food, expensive beer, and plenty of shenanigans if you can make the trip.

I will help spin wrenches at the track, AAA it home if need be, and let her rest peacefully in my garage until you're ready

The Shootout may as well be in my back yard. Anything I can do to help fellow members attend, I'm all for it

I'm sure gas for the drive here is expensive, but the Shootout itself doesn't have to be.

For anyone who hasn't been yet. Tickets are only $15 a day. Camping at the race track is free (and awesome), coolers are allowed at the track so food/beverages are cheap. We will have a fire for cooking camp style food. It can be done for $50, and done comfortably for $100

gas in total will be close to 500$ and thats if we just bring 138. if 1078 come to it will cost over a grand to drive bc the wife will want hotels on the way there and back.

this i know for a fact i camped right in the same area last year and it was a great time with lot of shenanigans.. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devil.gif

transparent if i can find a co pilot for this trip ill drive down and meet up with you and drive over. so if you have like hotel info and would not that you are planing on stopping at that would be good to set up before hand with how ever many cars we can get going from the west. i wont to have my car there this year now that she is all up and running good. just let me know your thoughts and what not. the more car from over here we have traveling as a group would be awesome and one hell of a great road trip.
