im having trouble finding what wires are used from the MAF connector when converted to a MAP sensor. I am aware that there is a jumper harness that is plug in play but unfortunately the previous owner or shop cut it off and hard wired it. im having and issue with the 5 volt feed that comes from the pcm. the 5 volt feed circuit that comes from the pcm on pin 23 drops to 1.3 volts when plugged into the MAP sensor. the TPS also uses this 5 volt feed. when I unplug the MAP sensor the voltage goes to the normal 5 volts on the circuit. I have put a new MAP sensor and replaced the pigtail connector just trying to make sure that I have it wire correctly. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif

Here you go.

GM-style Omni power 4-bar connection to the baro input

Although we can't possibly document all the different combinations of MAP sensors going to all the different ECU inputs, we will at least document the “typical” case of installing our GM-style Omni power 4-bar sensor to the car's baro input. If you have our SD cable then, of course, you can just plug it straight up; no wiring or soldering required. But if you do not, then you'll have the green pigtail shown in this image.

The red wire needs to be connected to the ECU's +5v line. That would be pin 81 (green w/yellow stripe) on a 2GECU harness or pin 23 (green w/red stripe) on a 1G ECU harness or pin 61 (green w/red stripe) on an EVO1-3 ECU harness. This can also be pulled from the MAF connector under the hood. The wire colors are the same on the MAF connector as on the ECU harness.

The black wire needs to be connected to the ECU's sensor ground. That would be pin 92 (black) on a 2G ECU harness or pin 24 (green w/black stripe) on a 1G ECU harness or pin 72 (black) on an EVO1-3 ECU harness. This can also be pulled from the MAF connector under the hood. The wire colors are the same on the MAF connector as on the ECU harness.

The blue wire needs to be connected to the ECU's baro input. That would be pin 85 (orange) on a 2GECU harness or pin 16 (green w/yellow stripe) on a 1GECU harness or pin 65 (pink) on an EVO1-3ECU harness. This can also be pulled from the MAFconnector under the hood. The wire colors are the same on the MAFconnector as on the ECU harness.
