Car is a 2g with a 1g motor. Pretty much rebuilt stock head with HKS 272 cams. I took my IM off to tap for a SD boost source and while being lazy came acdross a chance to pick up a JMF street SMIM. I'm running a TDO6sl2 20G turbo. I don't have any future plans to go bigger. I've done some research and don't really know if it will help me any other than be a 300-400 dollars poorer.

It will brighten up under the hood. For your power level cant say it won't help peak numbers but the gains are probably going to be pretty small. Your turbo size doesnt out flow the stocker for sure however the runner length will alter your powerband. Other folks may be able to give you more specific information.

IMO its a bit overkill for your set-up, but it will help top end power a bit. Most people make well over 400 hp before getting an intake manifold. there are better places things you could do with 400$ to help the car, for example buy a meth kit. it will help way more than a manifold ever could.

The biggest gain you'll get out of that swap with your current setup is additional lag, and reduced midrange power, with a minimal gain at peak.

So... as previously mentioned... I wouldn't do it.

I agree, stick to the stock intake.
