100 Amp fuse....getting it out and where to buy a new one?

I had a hell of time getting the 100A alternator fuse out. I ended up pulling as hard as I could and leaving the fuse legs behind. I wonder if it is like my Escort GT where you have to remove a screw on the other side to pull it out?

Also, is this a dealer only item? I know alot of folks don't mind going to the dealer for items like this but that's not me at all. If I need to go to the dealer then so be it.

Thanks!

yes you have to remove the bolts, you can get them at any auto store. I got mine at Advanced.

So there are bolts underneath or something? Good news on being able to get them anywhere...whew don't want to have to drive from the stix to the city to get a lousy fuse!

Thanks

Just loosen the bolts and the legs will fall out and then slide in the new fuse and tight back up.

Yes, Autozone or any normal parts store stocks these.

Great...which bolts though? Do I have to loosen the fuse box and turn it upside down or something?

Thanks

Just wondering, what the hell is that yellow fuse for? I seem to be missing that completely. The blue one is for automatic seat belts correct?
