A couple summers ago I picked up a CF Vented hood from a former Galant owner that came from the group buy a while back. Long story short I went to fit it last summer and the hinge holes for the hood are off on one/both sides, Either way it doesn't line up by about 3/4". Dremelling out the hinge brackets won't work bc its so far off the holes line up on the outside edge of the bracket. Im trying to figure out if there is a way to make this thing work, besides putting hood pins at the top as well (4 total). Putting in four is my only current idea, but for a street car, having to pull the entire hood off everytime I want to get to the engine sounds insane. I can't seem to find any pictures of it at the moment and I won't be near the thing til about June anyway. but, i thought I'd put feelers out and see if anyone has any ideas. Thanks.
