My ECU fried

Was causally driving and the car shut off, smelled of sulfur bad. Anyone know what went wrong?

Looks like your caps leaked out and melted things causing a short.

That's what I figured. I snagged another ECU for 40 bucks and popped it in, been fine since. Was just curious.

 

make sure you replace the caps so it doesnt happen again

That's too bad. The 47uf cap shorted and burned up. Looks like an otherwise clean ECU but since the original caps weren't changed out it's now done.
