Silicone or rubber?

One of the outcomes of some recent troubleshooting is that it may be a good idea to relocate my MAP. No big deal, but in looking around my engine bay, I think it is finally time to do another project that I've been sitting on and replace/clean-up my vacuum lines. Is it with spending the extra coin on silicon hoses on this car? I know on my FD RX7 I was absolutely worth it given the temps and the fact that the twin turbo setup had about a mile of hose and a couple dozen solenoids. But for the Galant, I don't know.

I plan on using a vacuum distribution block, so if anyone has any feedback on those, it would be appreciated.

If I remember correctly, RRE has a kit with enough of the correct size vaccum hoses to replace all of them.
