Can some old school GVR4 guy ID this exhaust?

So 733/2000 had this 3" exhaust on the car when I got it. I always thought it was some exhaust/muffler shop special, however when a old school DSM'er stopped by my house today he seen the exhaust and said it reminded him of a old Buschur Exhaust. I'm not 100% convinced, but knowkng that the rest of the parts use to build this car we're not cheap, I think it's highly unlikely that the builder of the this car 'cheaped' out. The muffler looks like a GReedy can, but I can't find any making anywhere.

Definitely custom made. Looks like an ebay muffler as well.

Not sure, but if you duplicate, use SS /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif If you have access to an orbital welder, would be pretty easy to replicate and you will have perfect welds, with no protrusion or slag, inside or out (purge with nitrogen).

Definitely custom, who the f knows on the muffler though. Hard to know these days if anything is real or not, but that is definitely an older piece, and there wasn't as much knockoff crap in circulation back then. If it had branding on it 15 years ago, chances are it was real

That said, Greddy, Apex and HKS all had their own twist on that style of muffler. Greddy had two, the Power Extreme and the Evo. The Evo was vertical offset in/out, Power Extreme did not have offset. The Power Extreme did not have etching on the tip, but on bottom of canister instead. Evo had etched tip.

Apex had the Dunk, which was offset. Hard to miss the etching on that tip.

HKS had the Drager/Super Drager.

And just for fun, the elusive "Dual Drager"

All of which i really wanted back in my hardcore rice days, like 1999-2002. Ha.

Thanks guys, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't crazy for thinking it was a custom exhaust.

That is what I planning on doing, however using high temperature paint not powder coat.

This is a pic of my new downpipe, and the flanges don't mate up.

I bet it is a Mofugus exhaust. He would use any muffler or resonator you wanted. He also welded the mandrel bends like that because he didn't have a mandrel bender like Buschur.
