Low mount battery relocation (Homemade bracket for 52r)

So here is the bracket I made to hold my battery. Only problem is I don't have an engine in the bay.


It's still rough just tacked in place really. The bottom pieces are 9.25" inches long.

Will this battery fit with the tyranny mount and everything in place?

Yes should be fine. That's where I have mine located and everything clears.

do you think i can get the battery out with the tranny mount in place? my battery is a little bigger than yours.


does this box look familiar?

Comparing to your pics your battery is only 1/2" bigger. So you will be fine.

On page 4 in the link below you can see the battery tray I made. It for a full size battery and it was a super tight fit.

Ok, but the trans mount isn't in place in that picture.

With the size of the battery I have it is not possible.

If it was something small like PC680 it would be possible but I figured I don't take my battery out that often so no bog deal.

With battery

Battery is not going to come out easy, but Looks damn good.

Correction: Changed out the battery removing only the tie down bracket. With a little wiggling the battery came right out.
