Won't put certain brand of shift knob on car because not relevant to Mitsubishi.

Installs 6-speed knob on 5-speed car.

Joking aside, that HKS knob reminds me of the Delrin knob Alex/Bimmubishi used to make. Always looked nice.

Yes! This was after I cleaned everything up and installed new tensioners and b belt, it was a hot mess down there. Finely shredded rubber everywhere. Amazing how one bolt can cause so much havoc.

Black, I just went ahead and installed the correct bolts that go there. Got the complete tb wp job done with all the tensioners and pulleys. Now onto some more maintenance. Original front drivers side axle. Literally fell apart when I removed it. After this is replaced I can finally drive it.

Ummmm, in the timing belt pic of the front cover, you do realize that the balance belt tensioning pulley is installed backwards, right? The lip of it is supposed to be outside the belt, not inside.

No their dead nuts, tension is perfect also. That's why i'm pissed that I have to do it all over again. Good thing I haven't driven it yet, though i'm sure it would be fine with the tensioner backwards for a short bit. Those white marks were from the shop that replaced the tb under the previous owner. If that's what you are looking at. They are not painted on the dowel pins evenly.

More maintenance. Akebono pads, oe rotors. Earls speed bleeders. Some interesting finds during the brake job. Top caliper bolt had a torn caliper boot. No lube, just rust. Mothra from oregon chillin in the caliper, still alive. Interesting combo used as a lugnut.

G - When you took your caliper to bracket bolts off, did one of your bolts have a black plastic cover at the very end? Each of my fronts had one bolt with that cover? Is there an order in which they go? Thanks!
