Well now that its got a new engine. I would like to take it to the track for an HPDE day or Auto X. I'm wanting to get your inputs on other things to check. I have done track events/auto x before but it was with my evolution. So I didn't have to check much.

Here's what I got so far.
new engine: will be broken in properly before I take it anywhere.
transmission has fresh fluid and clutch is in good order
its good fairly new pads and rotors on all four. Hawk HPS in the front.
new tires
suspension is stock. AWS is disabled.
I have a harness bar and 4 point harness for the driver. Schroth rallye
no leaks now that they are fixed.
Battery is secured

Car is essentially stock with a few bolt one. The only issue I have at the moment is my Hood latch isn't braced properly so that will be addressed soon with a CF jdm Hood and Hood pins.

If anyone has anything else for me to check. Please let me know.

Fresh brake and Clutch fluid is always a good idea.
Double check your trunk day of, make sure nothing is loose.
Check for boost leaks before.
Go over the cooling system, new t-stat, hoses, gaskets, radiator as necessary.
Check your wheel bearings and wheel studs/lugs.
Disable ABS (many prefer our system disabled)
Is your power steering in ok shape, maybe do the mod to fix cutout issue.
Make sure your tires aren't rubbing anywhere.
Possibly pull the passenger headlight depending on your setup.
Check oil filter housing and filter, You don't want anything coming off.

There's more, but that is a start.

^what is the reason for taking out the passenger light? I'd assume airflow to intake...any other reason?

Just that, might help keep things a bit cooler. Personal preference and setup dictates though, along with rules and/or the tech inspectors.

I'm not that worried about airflow. PO made a large opening right in front of the fender. I may clean the area up and create an enclosed airbox in the future.

Take a full day to inspect, change all fluids, and retorque the bolts. If the car is making any power at all you'll come home with smoked brake pads and bald ass tires.

Hawk HPS's will not fare well if your any sort of aggressive. HP+'s will do a much better job, and even I burn them up.
