So I am removing my Alternator, I took off the plug type connector and the 10mm. On the 10mm(Ground?) there are two wires that have been cut/spliced off. What are they for?

Could you get a better picture of the terminals that are on the ends? I think one of them goes to the PS pump and not sure about the other.

possibly the oil pressure sensor, but a beter pic would help.
All I can see are the 2 wires going to the eyelet in your hand and the 2 yellow wires that appear to be going to the alt connector.
I see another wire, but I can't tell if it's going to anything, or just ends right there.

The power steeing pump should have a sinlge round pin sticking out. I don't remember off hand where on the pump it is. It's a pressure switch that will bump your idle up when it sees a little load from the pump.

The wires going to the ps pump and the oil pressure sensor are BOTH yellow. I'll take a better look at my harness tonight and see if there's a colored stripe to tell the difference.

Ground one wire and see if your oil pressure light turns on. Then you know which wire is which. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
