How Often Do Fan Clutches Fail?

Just like the title states, I am wondering if a bad fan clutch could be causing my fan to turn on and off intermittently. The wiring is correct. If it is the fan clutch, where can I buy a replacement? On the VR-4, where is the fan clutch located? Anyone have a picture? Thanks!

Its an electric motor. On or off. Not a fan clutch.

You would want to check the temp switch, the fan relay, and the fan low-speed resistor instead, I'd think.

As mentioned our fans are electric (woogy woogy woogy) so they don't have a clutch. They do, however, cycle on and off depending on the temp of the coolant.

Are you overheating or just wondering about the fan cycles?
