The wolf3d V3 and wolf3d V4 both have hand controllers

The V3 used only the hand controller. (Stay away)
The V4 uses both hand controller and laptop.

The V500 is the new one which uses laptop primarily but has a hand controller option also. I know that the first dash / handcontroller made was halted due to manufacturer issues but I believe they have now found a new dash to use.

If you are thinking about purchasing a wolf3d to use, I suggest that you don't unless you have a competant aftermarket tuner. The wolf guys are very helpful here is Aus. Techsupport is good. The only issue is that the wolf system does take alot of time to setup and tune. Especially cold start. But overall they are a decent system.

FYI: Autronic is the best aftermarket system out there (bang for buck but it is still not cheap).

Motec is better but requires alot more $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
