Wideband bung location

For those of you who have widebands, where have you welded the bung? I can put mine in the downpipe just in front of the firewall in the 12 o'clock position. Are there any drawbacks to this spot? The wire would run right up near where the knock sensor is.

Dropped the front of my exhaust this weekend while replacing the t-case and the damn wires separated for my EGT sensor. Something else to fix that I don't have time for this week,,, /ubbthreads/images//graemlins/rolleyes.gif

That is right where I had mine, it worked out fine for me.

That's where I have my wideband sensor installed, except that I clocked it at around 1 o'clock position to more easily route the wiring harness.
