How far can you bore out a 4g64?

The bore spacings are close together - the biggest you would want to go is 1.0mm oversized to 87.5mm. No way you could get it to a 2.6 without a 106mm stroker crank. A 4G64 is 2350cc as it is so boring it out will bring it closer to the 2400cc it's meant to be.

87.5mm bore and 106mm stroke with a small rod to stroke ratio would be a harsh engine in terms of vibration, and it would not want to rev out much (or do so without extra stress).
