OK, guys, I can’t believe I am even considering this, but… certain opportunities in life have me looking into reducing my car collection. I am not 100% committed to selling it, but I just want test out the waters. I want to see if anyone is interested in buying my Summit. Most of you know what it is. It is well sorted out swap with modified suspension and MANY custom mods! This thing is an instant viral video creating machine! I originally found it on this forum, so it seems appropriate I post it here first

I want to offer it in several separate trims:

$9000 with K1 wheels and FP Red (Volks are sold, so that option is off the table)
$8500 with 20G turbo
$8000 with 16G turbo (no external WG)

1993 Eagle Summit AWD TSI, spent most of its life in Arizona. It is pretty much RUST FREE! It is virtually impossible to find these van in this condition for any price! It ran 11.60 at 120 with FP Red on pump gas and only 25psi of boost, at the moment it has a rebuilt 20G. Race weight 2800lbs (w/out rear bench seat).

The bad: PS fender has a small dent due to contact at the track (I have a new fender), the paint is faded. I am not going to say that it “needs a paint job”, because some people actually prefer the beater look. After 7 years of owning it, I am done with the beater image and would like to paint it. It doesn't have ISC and I never spent enough effort on making it idle perfect, so it occasionally stalls.
The van has low mileage (75k) OEM short block with removed balance shafts, a built head with stainless valves, Crower springs (less than 200 miles on it), and HKS 272 cams. It is running modified van transmission (basically turned into a 2G tranny) with Shep Racing 4 spider gear center diff and ACT2600 with street clutch.

These are some of the mods and their approximate value (I am sure I am forgetting something):

BR SST 1G Cold Air Intake 100.00
20G Turbo 600.00
O2 housing w/40mm WG recirculated 600.00
272 HSK cams 350.00
PI Kavlar belt 100.00
Buschur COP 200.00
ACT 2600 Clutch 400.00
ACT ChromeMoly FW 200.00
Shep Racing 4 Spider CenterDiff 500.00
Magnus Sheet Metal Intake 400.00
V3 ECMLink w/2G ECU 600.00
Crower Valve Springs W/Ti Hats 200.00
EVO8 TEIN front coilovers w/camber plates 400.00
2G Yellow Koni's rear shocks 260.00
Race Core FMIC with piping &TIAL BOV 600.00
AEM A/F Gauge 200.00
3" Stainless Downpipe 150.00
Exhaust cutout 150.00
PTC 1000cc Injectors 200.00
Auromotive FPR 150.00
Auromotive Stealth Fuel Pump $150
EVO 3 Koyo Radiator $300.00

Momo seat with sliding mounts 200.00
TCE/Wilwood/custom brake superlight (not installed) 500.00
K1 rims w/Sumotomo tires 600.00
Modified EVO8 KYB suspension (spare) 250.00

That is almost $8.5k worth of used parts! Not counting HUNDREDS of hours of work and custom fabrication that went into it!

Custom work:

95 Summit Ignition switch
95 Summit Manual seat belts w/matching a/b pillars
Custom adaptation of EVO and DSM suspension
1G Tach
Short shifter
Modified Mustage Bar
2x2" towing hitch (not installed)

Extra parts:

Driveshaft
Rear end w/both axles
Parts transmission
Two crates worth of miscellaneous Summit parts.

At the track, this car is ridiculous attention getter! People seem to love it, regardless of what kind of cars they prefer (V8 muscle, European or AutoX/Road racing). It generates viral Youtube videos, just about every time you take to the track!
Yahoo Autos did a nice write up on it:

Please let me know if you are serious about it. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it long distance, I have driven it 700 miles to Ohio for DSM shootout several times.

It used to have AC and cruise control (and I still have most of those parts). So you could reinstall them if you really want to But fitting around the Front mount I/C and piping might be difficult. The 10” front mount core is the ENTIRE front bumper! It starts 1/16" below the top of the bumper cover and does as low as you can possibly go, so it is really shoehorned in there

You can see the IC in this photo:

One way ticket from Chicago to Boston can be pretty cheap, then just load it up with parts (I have LOT OF PARTS) and drive 19 hours back! I went to high school in Urbana, while my family was in Boston, so I made this trip several times, in one shot, BY MYSELF!

Officially posted Volk's for sale, so the high price option is about to go away /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

TE37s are no longer an option. So price is adjusted accordingly.

There is a bar that runs the length of the dash that pushes the brake booster.

Sorry, I just noticed that this thread was bumped up.

I haven't put it on the road this year. I am not actively trying to sell it, but I suppose I can be convinced to part with it, for the right price.

I bought some RVR rear disc brakes for it (I had them shipped from Australia!), I was going to combine this with 5 lug conversion, but I have been too busy with my other projects /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif.
