Why not just remove the vents? It would be easier and cheaper to ship.

Possibly. Whoever is attempting this merge may want the indents to weld into the hood though maybe?

Exactly why I am selling it like that for someone who wants to try and convert a usdm hood!

How much does a jdm hood with vents cost? Figuring the time and cost related to converting a usdm hood (cutting, welding, painting).. would it be reasonable to source a jdm hood? Just wondering.

# 1 good luck finding one (there are a couple on eBay but shitty condition)
# 2 any one your gonna find is gonna need body work regardless and paint
# 3 between the cost of the hood and shipping from Malaysia or japan your looking at around 500 bucks and you have to have it painted and have body work done to it like I stated above!

Only reason I did this is because I got into a fender bender and had to buy a jdm hood to replace my old one and I cut this center section out of my old one to sell!
